Agentic Barometer Mockup

Archevia
Description

George explains that the barometer should move from a static document to a hosted, living platform where users can scroll through richer content, drill into stats, and access the experience on mobile as well. He describes a top toolbar with comparison features, including month-over-month views, daily or weekly deltas, my company tracking, competitor tracking, and a what-if calculator that could show how changes affect scoring. George also raises the need to define the underlying data and calculation system, noting that some editorial content may remain while the numeric scoring and data sources still need to be figured out.

[00:00] Hey Stephanie and Zahar. So just kind of following up and giving a little more detail on the slides that sort of show this. My thoughts around the barometer

[00:10] are basically trying to kind of move away from distributing your document instead distributing a way of bringing people into this platform. So this would

[00:20] be hosted on our own servers and would be kind of you know have its own set up and everything. But the basic idea is that it's a living document that allows

[00:30] users to kind of get on and scroll through and have sort of more rich content and things that they can kind of drill in on. So the idea being that

[00:40] instead of just delivering this document that's static, we actually have something that's much more living, right? It gives us the ability to kind of have people scroll through to kind of see some of the different stats. Again this

[00:50] is all just sort of static based on the pilot that Stephanie built. Earlier they just kind of like dragged it in. So this is basically built a static site but you

[01:00] could imagine that a lot of these pieces there might be more information about some of the data, some drill downs, some kind of summaries about different things, etc. The sort of second piece to it is that there's this toolbar across the top

[01:10] that has some functionality. One of them being what I'm calling kind of this compare. So the ability for one to be able to kind of look through different

[01:20] issues. So we're looking at June, maybe you can look at May or whatever. But what if you wanted to compare them? What if you wanted to see how things change? We

[01:30] want that ability to kind of be locked. So you know this who knows what all this would say. This is really just kind of like a quick mock-up of the experience. But you can imagine that for users that either are paying for this the report

[01:40] that they would get access to the ability to compare. So once we go into kind of compare mode we could look at a bunch of different things. You know month

[01:50] over month. I have this sort of idea about daily Delta that maybe that there's some data that we're pulling that would change a number sort of on daily or

[02:00] weekly basis and so maybe you want to see that. And then I think the real important piece is this compare. So I have my company, competitor tracking, and

[02:10] what it calculated. So the my company one, I think this is really where the money's at because my proposition is basically that if if you're delivering a report or sort

[02:20] of an audit to your clients and they're also going to presumably be you know aware of the barometer, it would be interesting to be able to deliver the

[02:30] report on the same type of platform. And then that way they can always kind of have their own profile such that they can look at where they fall relative to

[02:40] the barometer. So you can see this is kind of pulling different things around the barometer. I turn that off it goes away and that stuff shows up. Similar

[02:50] would be like you know on a different chart kind of like where are we etc. Building on top of that would be competitor tracking right so that where

[03:00] do my company's competitors fall on the barometer. And then the what-if calculator builds on top of that right. None of this UI is built out. You have to figure all that stuff out. But it basically gets at the idea that you

[03:10] could change some of these values and see if that will impact the scoring and how. And so this really gets into a bigger question that Stephanie and I

[03:20] kind of started a discussion on which is what is the actual data that's being used here and how editorial is this this document. I would think that the

[03:30] barometer itself does have editorial pieces to it right something like this but for the sake of the data the actual numbers we'll have to kind of figure out

[03:40] the calculation system for that where that data is coming from and if any of this stuff is actually possible or relevant. So anyway that's the the

[03:50] experience that I was thinking it would of course work on mobile and all that fun stuff as well which makes it you know by doing it digitally is probably

[04:00] the better move because you can see while this mock-up is broken in theory the things would not be able to look nice. But yeah that's the take.
