Pricing Page Options

Description

George shared an update on two pricing page directions he tested and said both are in staging and ready for feedback. He explained that one version adds top tabs, reorganizes and shortens the pricing cards, and may need more content for professional services and cybersecurity to address layout gaps. He also described a second version that changes the fractional pricing format into a comparison table with the price at the bottom, while leaving the professional services and cybersecurity sections unchanged.

[00:00] Hello, hello. Happy Friday. So, update for you on some pricing package update page stuff. So, I took two passes at this, and I think there's probably some room for improvement, but I wanted to get your feedback first.

[00:10] So, the first being is adding the tabs at the top. So, I've more or less borrowed the same design as the scrolling tab thing,

[00:20] so it's the same language, and then have the ability now for it to switch between these views, which you can see.

[00:30] And then these are basically just like one giant pricing card that will take you to the getting started page regardless.

[00:40] So, that's in place. This is all in the staging environment, of course, but it's working enough that you can kind of play with it. I also reorganized the cards a little bit here. So, I was looking at them like they're kind of lengthy.

[00:50] There's sort of a lot going on. We had the price down at the bottom, like the current one. If I just pull it up, you can see the price is down here at the bottom, and then we have this sort of piece up at the top,

[01:00] which is taking up a lot of space. And then it also sort of like makes us have to put custom there, which is a little bit peculiar.

[01:10] So, instead, it was like maybe there's a way that I can just kind of combine those and use that space up there.

[01:20] So, I combined those up. I also shortened these such that it's easier to see if there's more things as you go across. So, the enterprise one has more stuff than the startup one. And then as you scroll down, of course, those pieces are there anyway.

[01:30] So, you can kind of see how that works. Now, when you jump to professional services and to cybersecurity,

[01:40] obviously, we need to work out what the content is on these. But one thing of note is the sort of jump in the background and the height of the page. I can deal with that by putting something that will hold the page there.

[01:50] But the root cause is that there's not much info here. So, if we can figure out what that might be.

[02:00] I don't know if this is just sort of one big click to get started or are there multiple packages within cybersecurity? Are there multiple sort of options within professional services to kind of get going on?

[02:10] So, you'll have to let me know. That's certainly up in the air. Okay. When it comes to the second one, this one, I was like, maybe there's a way to just change the format of the pricing in general.

[02:20] And instead to do, you know, basically show the fractional as like a table where the price is at the bottom

[02:30] and we're just seeing the comparison right there. Now, I could imagine that we might have some tool tips in here

[02:40] to kind of like improve what advanced actually means versus basic or to kind of get a sense. But you get the idea that instead of it being something that's, you know, where there's like the cards and then the more details,

[02:50] it's just like, here it is. The professional services and cybersecurity haven't changed in this case. So, yeah, let me know your thoughts. Curious to kind of get some feedback and then I can improve on this.
